ART by BRADSHAW CRANDELL from RARE ORIGINAL VINTAGE PASTEL -

Bradshaw Crandell was a popular and famous by his Cosmopolitan Magazine Cover Girl Illustrations of the 1930's and 1940's (Sample of his Cosmo work is shown, though not for sale). He is a listed and famous 20th century illustrator and artist. He is Highly collectible, his art is very rare and hard to find, more so are these Nudes. These calendar style nudes and illustrations are rare and highly desirable. Historically art departments for most advertisers, pulp, calendar, and magazines would routinely throw away older art archives. In this way many artist's illustration work was lost at a rate of 40 to as much as 95%, leaving the old paper printed materials as the only lasting image. However This rare painting survived! This was in private collection for years and this is the first time this fine art print and painting offered (see other listing for original art by Bradshaw Crandell)
